Help Aussie kids learn to Swim and Survive

UNCLE TOBYS Partnership

UNCLE TOBYS is proudly working together with the Royal Life Saving Society - Australia to help children learn to Swim and Survive.

Sadly, more than 50 children between the ages of 1 and 15 drown every year. While drowning remains the leading cause of accidental death in Australian children, every drowning is preventable.

Research conducted by Royal Life Saving Society – Australia reveals that the number of child drowning deaths is unacceptably high. Although many children are receiving an excellent water safety education alarmingly; thousands of Australian children are still missing out.

Since 2009, UNCLE TOBYS has been supporting Royal Life Saving Society – Australia to help provide thousands of Australian children with the opportunity to learn to Swim and Survive and raise the importance of swimming and water safety education with parents.

Swim and Survive is a national swimming and water safety initiative of Royal Life Saving that seeks to increase swimming, water safety and lifesaving skills of all Australian children. The Wonder, Courage and Active programs are structured into skill strands that ensure a balanced, comprehensive instructional approach to children’s aquatic education.

UNCLE TOBYS and Royal Life Saving are helping to prevent child drowning in your local community by providing swimming lessons to financially disadvantaged children using the Swim and Survive Fund. To find out how you can help, click here.
